Cookie statement

Cookie statement

Version of 29 September 2026, for the new website decompagnie.nl. This is a translation of our Dutch cookie statement. Should the two versions differ, the Dutch text prevails.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file that is saved on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. We also use comparable techniques, such as local storage. In this statement we refer to all of these as cookies.

2. Our approach

Our website only uses cookies that it needs in order to work. We do not follow you around the internet, do not show you advertising on other websites and do not load anything from third parties that sets cookies. For that reason we do not ask for your consent and you will not see a cookie banner on our website.

3. The cookies we use

Necessary and functional

Cookie Purpose Retention
Language choice Remembers whether you are using the Dutch or the English version 1 year
Form security Protects our forms against abuse and spam Session
Saved search Remembers your filters in our property listings during your visit Session

Visitor statistics

We count how many people visit our website, which pages they look at and how they found us. For this we use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting company Vercel. It sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses. A visit is recognised by an encrypted code that expires after 24 hours. The data is not shared with anyone and is not used for advertising, so no consent is required. CHECK

4. Maps, Street View and social media

  • Maps. The maps showing our listings, on the property pages and on the contact page are provided by the Kadaster through PDOK. No cookies are set. To display the map your IP address is sent to the Kadaster, as happens with any website you visit. The data stays in the Netherlands.
  • Google Street View. The button to see the street opens Google Street View in a new tab. Nothing from Google is loaded on our website itself.
  • Instagram and Facebook. The icons at the foot of each page are simple links. Only when you click one do you arrive on that platform, where its own cookies and terms apply.

5. Deleting or blocking cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser whenever you like. How to do this depends on your browser and is explained in its help pages. If you block the necessary cookies, parts of our website may not work as well.

6. Personal data

Where we process personal data through cookies, our privacy statement applies. It also explains who we share data with and what your rights are.

7. Changes

We update this statement as soon as we add or remove cookies. The latest version is available on decompagnie.nl. This version is dated 29 September 2026.
